"Don't the people on Mastodon like things like that?" asked my wife, pointing at the growth of fungus on the base of a cut-down tree trunk as we walked near our hotel.

"Not all of them," I replied. "Half a dozen on beige.party likely don't care for this stuff at all, and as for infosec.exchange, don't even go there. But the rest, yes."

"What?"
