@arch I wish there was more education about IPv6. I still don't know how it works! It looks like magic to me!

@arch At this point I'm not really surprised. IPv6 would make the web better for individual people, including for self hosting, so MS has no desire to support it fully

But as for GH .. well, it doesn't serve their AI agenda. That platform is going downhill for long now, in many aspects, and they deserve it 🤷🏻‍♂️
It's really nice not having to work with such a user-hostile platform like GH on a daily basis, I have to say.

@arch @n0toose What’s funny is that they used to support it. I know they used to support it because it’s incidentally documented in this Server Fault question I asked in 2016, where I happened to include the IP address ranges which GitHub used at the time in my firewall configuration that wasn’t working https://serverfault.com/questions/805579/all-ipv6-traffic-blocked-by-pf
