FYI I gave a presentation in Brussels last week at the European #PublicDomain Day 2026.
It's a more personal story than I usually do, about how easy it is to get lost in all the import advocacy work. Almost forgetting why you started to work on them in the first place. It is also a call to action, for people to enjoy the Public Domain & to use it to create new art. And for institutions to enable this. Especially in these, difficult, volatile times:
I had some technical issues, so I presented using a pdf on one laptop and speakers on my personal laptop.
Not my best performance, but I hope /assume it got the message across. It was a lovely event & I learned quite a few new things about the #PublicDomain
