Got #Sims4 game working on an salvaged Inspiron 5749 17" laptop with a fresh install of Linux Mint and about two hours of fucking with #Steam options until it worked. After I did the requisite EA login B.S. and got the thing running full screen my daughter thinks I'm the coolest dad ever, at least for today.

Options I needed:

Steam Overlay: OFF
Steam Input: OFF
