Secular anniversary of Mom's death today, from #ALS ( #MND, #ELA, #SLA — same awful disease, same fatal outcome, different languages). I miss her. Miss the conversations we had, miss the ones we'll never have. Miss seeing her enjoy her grandchildren and seeing them enjoy being doted on by her. Lots to miss. And lots of great memories. Yesterday would have been Mom's and Dad's 70th wedding anniversary. She was tenacious and hung on for one last celebration.
