I found this gem while looking for the album version to post in a comment.

In 1991, Van Halen played a FREE SHOW at the West End Market Place in Dallas, TX. They had to cancel their show in Big D the previous year due to Eddie falling ill. Sammy had called in to a local radio station ( I THINK it was Q102), and had promised the fans that the band would play a free make-up show the following year. They were true to their word.

I called in sick to work to go see this show. LOTS of folks called in sick. Kids skipped school. It was insane. People on rooftops, hanging out of windows, climbing lamp/sign posts. One group of fans close to me climbed atop somebody's car, and when the boys cranked into "Poundcake", started bouncing atop this car. There was a lound snap, the car sank, and everybody on top bailed.

I couldn't see a damn thing, I was so far in the back, but damn I sure heard and felt it. The energy was crazy. So crazy that Dallas PD shut the show down after only about half an hour. But, fuckoff, what a scene!
