Photograph of a wild hyacinth (Camassia scilloides) bloom with out of focus flowers and green foliage in the background. The view is from above looking down on the end of a tall inflorescence with many blooms extending outward and up and down a central stalk. Wild hyacinths have white flowers with lavender streaks down the length of the petals. Each flower has five-pointed petals arranged in a star pattern that radiate from a center with five white stamens with bright yellow anthers and a bright yellow-green pistil with a white stigma.
