As the mother of two 10 yr olds, this account sent chills down my spine.
A 17 yr old #Farage racially bullying a child from the youngest class (equivalent I assume of today’s Yr5/6) cannot in any way be construed as banter or without malice.
It also appalls me to think that #DulwichSchool thought it appropriate for Farage to be made a prefect.
And I think perhaps we should strongly consider the kind of moral education that public schools such as #Dulwich gave to its pupils.
What characteristics were encouraged in these fee paying schools? Kindness, generosity, compassion…or just knock them dead competition and a sense of establishment authority?
What happens to a country when it’s governed by boys who were abandoned at the gates of such institutions aged little more than 9?
We saw it play out under Cameron and Johnson.
