So apparently, my local shopping mall can't afford Wham and Mariah Carrey, and we're getting a bunch of cheap (?) Christmas songs instead. It goes from the "quite nice actually": John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" to OMG what is that? (my phone told me it was Jessica Simpson) with some forgotten stuff in the middle: Bob Geldof/Band Aid. (I never realized how demeaning the lyrics were before).
