We just released Mastodon 4.5.6, 4.4.13, and 4.3.19.
These versions contain various bug fixes, including a fix for a moderate security vulnerability.

HTML question. Are frames still 'current' or are there better alternatives?
I don't need a big fancy solution that looks stunning thanks to javascript and CSS and what not, simply a frame-like option.

I know the difference between public, Followers only, and Direct.
There is also the option for Unlisted available. @FediTips has this on their (very useful) website:

Unlisted can be useful for replying in threads, so that you’re not filling search results etc unnecessarily. Normally indicated by a crescent moon 🌙

Would it be useful to post a new Toot (thread or just a loose one) in this setting? Or won't anyone be able to see it when I don't mention anyone? Like I'm screaming in the void and the void just ignores me?
I am currently really struggling with my (mental) health and I want to share some things, but not "shout them out" to everyone. I've been using the followers only bit on occasion. But I was just wondering about the unlisted option. Unfortunately my brain is too foggy at the moment to really understand the meaning of this setting... 😔
If there is any way to describe it like you're talking to a 5-year-old (who would probably understand it more easily than I would at this time 😂), I would be very grateful.
