After an incredibly frustrating call with Lorex support in which they wanted me to get another phone, find a transformer, and talk to anyone else in the house, I finally got my non-cloud, non-subscription doorbell to work by uninstalling all the security software on my phone, resetting the doorbell without its SD card, and finally rebooting my router, and cursing a lot.
