Hey friends! I made this simple flyer about safe foods for ducks, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to print it and put it up on the message boards at their local parks. Just one flyer can make a huge difference. https://www.allforgardening.com/1560685/hey-friends-i-made-this-simple-flyer-about-safe-foods-for-ducks-and-i-was-wondering-if-anyone-would-be-willing-to-print-it-and-put-it-up-on-the-message-boards-at-their-local-parks-just-one-flyer-ca/ #CountryLife #farming #gardening #homesteading #SelfSufficiency

• -14°C this morning, -4°C now.
• air enters the ventilation at 5°C thanks to the passive ground-coupled heat exchanger (+9°C)
• supplied air is at 21°C thanks to the air-to-air heat exchanger (+16°C)
• extracted air is at 24°C
• discharged air is at 8°C
It consumes around 300W of electricity.
The ventilation maintains the temperature whilst renewing air. The greenhouse heats the house. It's currently at 32°C.
What is this animal that is going around my house? It seems to walk, jump and also leaves strange scratch marks all over the place! https://www.allforgardening.com/1558440/what-is-this-animal-that-is-going-around-my-house-it-seems-to-walk-jump-and-also-leaves-strange-scratch-marks-all-over-the-place/ #CountryLife #farming #gardening #homesteading #SelfSufficiency

Does anyone know of a handy list of good books around topics like how to do things without electricity/gas/etc? I'm finding it difficult to explain what I mean, but in a solarpunk/sufficient/'the world is crap and too expensive but I still want to have a thing' sort of way.
Like knitting, weaving, gardening, building, etc. I'd like to build a library of physical resources/books for knowledge to have on hand if the world goes to crap. But not in a 'prepper' way.
I guess it can rely on electricity, but derived from solar or hydro rather than from a grid. And maybe then stuff about that would be good like how to fix a generator or something.
I'm sorry this is rambley, hopefully it makes sense to someone. I'm not even sure what tags to give this.
