Sorry guys, the official account for the Global Sumud Flotilla has now confirmed that their reports of the Mikedo breaking the siege were false.
HOWEVER: one vessel, the Marinette, is still unaccounted for and presumed heading for the Gaza shore, AND the boats have left Turkey to start a new attempt this morning.
In the meantime, check for your local protest and get on the streets if you can. I'll post as much info as I can find.
Don't forget there are still 38 vessels in the Flotilla making their way to Gaza that haven't been boarded!
Reports from the smaller boats in the fleet say that the navy just doesn't have the capacity to deter all the boats all the time, so while they're being harassed and hit with water cannon, they're getting closer to the shore every minute ✊ ⛵ 🇵🇸
