I do hope there鈥檚 a special place in hell for people who occupy two seats with their coats and/or luggage when the train is full and people are standing in the aisle. I just got a family of four seated simply by asking people to do the obvious. This family hadn鈥檛 dared to do it themselves.
Eurostar tickets from Cologne to London were ridiculously expensive so I booked Brussels-London only (expensive enough!) and booked Cologne-Brussels with #DeutscheBahn, which means I could get a Sparpreis with Bahncard 25 reduction and free, plastic-free drinks thanks to my frequent-traveller status. I bought my own Pl盲tzchen (not pictured) and so the scene is set for a perfect pre-Christmas ride!
