Ken Dryden was an awesome — the right word — goaltender for Cornell in the late 1960’s. He won 76 of his 81 varsity starts, including the 1967 NCAA Championship and three consecutive ECAC tournaments.

Opposing team fans watched Dryden with awe and dread. He was an all but indomitable and sportsmanlike opponent who became an iconic Canadian athlete and politician. RIP #kendryden
