What’s going to stop Putin is cruise missiles hitting his oil refineries, his weapons storages, his nuclear bombers, his weapons factories.

These talks might yield a pause, and civilians could have a well-deserved time to breathe. But sorry to burst that bubble: The next invasion is being rehearsed for in Belarus, next month.

Russia is currently acting near the Polish/Lithuanian border exactly as it did in 2021, before attacking Ukraine in 2022.

But this time it’s bringing the nukes, too.

If Europe flinches now, I predict there will be a conflict between NATO and Russia in the coming years.
