An echidna pokes it's long nose and snout into the earth, hunting ants. Facing forward left, the low afternoon sun glints from it's woolly fur and spines. Blue sky overhead shines from it's dark front claws. Sheoak needles litter the ground.

Nosing Around.

I saw this echidna on the way to the beach. Luckily I was downwind so it didn't notice me for a while (their sense of smell is much better than their eyesight, which is poor at best).
