The confrontation began when the child, wearing a #kippah was spotted by passersby. Within moments, the pair was bombarded with shouts of “Free #Palestine” and “murderers.” The boy appeared shaken and visibly distressed, while his father, standing firm, responded by shouting “Am Yisrael Chai” (“The people of Israel live”). In sequence, the father was pushed into the floor, beaten and had his glasses broaken by the harassers. In the meanwhile, his son was pushed aside and protected by a pedestrian who tried to shield him from the chaos."
