If we were serious about constructing a low carbon economy, we’d acknowledge, soberly, that we have a steel problem:
“The global iron and steel industry consumes more energy and produces more carbon emissions than any other industry.”

Something has to be largest.
Steel and Iron is persistent once out of the ground/furnace, and I think as electricity becomes superabundant the recycling of steel is going to reduce its contribution to CO2.
But chipping away at it is a good work.
I've been seeing a lot of these across Berlin. Are US brands feeling nervous about their American image? 🤔🤔🤔
I always stated that I'm addicted to Coke Zero. I never took anything else, and in bars that only had the US competitor, I ordered a juice.
But since the fascist actions of Trump, I moved to non-US brands. And I find that my caffeine fix is just as easily satisfied with Coke that costs half the price.
It was meant as a temporary political statement, but when Trump is replaced, I will wonder if I am still willing to pay a 100% premium to get the 'real' thing.
