Went to first Judo class last night. They spent the time getting me to practice breakfalls as expected but beyond that I felt just as lost as at my first BJJ class. I like that Judo gyms are nonprofits - only $40/month! Also has a very cozy community service vibe which is different from BJJ gyms I've been to. Think I'll focus on Judo for a bit before finding a BJJ gym.

Turns out there's a good judo gym near-ish my Seattle apartment so maybe I'll mix in a class there once a week. Would be fun to go back to BJJ and absolutely launch people lol
