It's very annoying, but it's also good to customize your environment. At the moment I'm about to start #rdfpub with docker again and it's scary how many problems I have with the environment.
Although I test a lot, there are still gaps in the integration. Or rather gaps again, I already had integration tests that used test containers. It's just so time-consuming that I deactivated it at some point.

@smallcircles the only question is what we do with the existing applications that are based on mastodon.
with #rdfpub i'm at the very beginning of federation and have been surprised countless times.
i'm very excited to see what else i come across.
