2014-2024: A decade of air quality improvements in Europe

Europe has seen significant progress in reducing air pollutant concentrations in the last decade, according to data from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS). The collective effort to regulate and limit anthropogenic emissions by policymakers, industry, and citizens translates into measurable results. Using the CAMS air quality reanalyses, we can observe the improvements in the evolution of surface concentrations of the regulatory air pollutants.
