NZ Govt Officials say transparency is critical to build trust in the government's most important data system, but the business case for expanding it is mostly blanked out.

Over two-thirds of the 95 pages in the business case to overhaul Statistics NZ's Integrated Data Infrastructure, or IDI, are entirely (or a few almost entirely) redacted.

Do you trust NZ Govt with your sensitive data? With current #infosec failures and behaviour of some officials, including #NZpolice ?

So is Andrew Coster losing his current job?
If he had principles, he would have handed his resignation in a while ago.
I had to deal with him after the Christchurch mosques attack. Feeling ill right now.

"So creating an offence of 'disobeying police' or 'refusing to tell police your plans' is effectively a licence for police to beat people at will, an invitation to the sort of violent and brutal policing exemplified above.

This sort of policing is profoundly incompatible with democracy. It is not the sort of policing we want to see here."
