@sturmsucht Go to Settings -> Content Preferences
@pixelfed and then? nothing there is changing the display of the images. the images are still cropped
@sturmsucht @pixelfed there should be a "Fill Preview Frame" toggle.
Disabling it should show the image as their correct aspect ratio, be it with black bars on top/side on some image.
@ashmeshedup @pixelfed I saw that, but
1) it doesn't work
2) I assume the "Fill Preview Frame" is for the preview == overview? The problem I'm having is on the detail page of an image (as you can see in the screenshots)
@pixelfed also: is it correct that the new Pixelfed app only shows a grid view and no masonary?
@pixelfed waiting for Play Store release
@pixelfed well that was quick. Provided AI was not used to ship is truly amazing.
@abhiyantrik It was pretty easy to implement this with the proper hooks.
We don't use AI, we love to code and build beautiful and more ethical experiences!
@pixelfed unfortunately your F-Droid Repo still shows only 1.8.0!?
