@Gina Oh no, not this moloch of a failed state. Come to the southwest! Mediterranean heat, Black Forest for hikes and to chill out, the “Swabian Sea” (aka Lake Constance) for watersports and fog. We got the best wine and food nobody strangely ever talks about.
@Gina I was rooting for Spain so I could learn from you and do the same thing. I’m also considering Italy, so if you could visit there too, I’d be grateful. 🙂

@Gina An ex of mine lived years there (even got married at some point) and moved back to France last year because the political situation is getting worse and she was feeling unwelcome as a foreigner 😅
@Gina the only thing in opposition: the weather in Berlin is nearly as nice as in the Netherlands.

Berlin is such a cliché. If you really want to move to Germany, move somewhere else and not to Berlin or Munich. Of course this is Germany too but not the normal Germany.
It is as if I’d say “I want to move to the US. Should I move to New York or Texas?”
@wintermeyer yeah so the thing is, the reason that Berlin is such a vibe is because of the tech and expat scene. You don't find that in Smoltownvillecreek.

If you want to go to a city in Germany, come to Hamburg. It's better than Berlin 🙂
