Daniel Swain did a pop-up office hour for the glacier Collapse and debris tsunami in Nepal https://youtube.com/live/m61bKp9NG0U
He shows footage we all might have seen already. But his online-tools and commentary make it worth watching in my opinion.
Like when he draws on screen to let us know which features he's talking about.
He's not a glaciologist, of course. But as climate scientist, his comments are valuable, esp. because they're always paired with deep empathy or sympathy and holistic understanding. No "neutral" coldness some male researchers clad themselves in.
Also his eloquence in all his live streams is beyond comparison.
No advertising disrupts the ~50min video.
Afterwards, he does a few Q&A and then moves on to California current extreme weather.
