So while the Daily Mail is blaming #Rewilding for #wildfires, the Telegraph is busy blaming reductions in #AirPollution for the #UKHeatwave

@afewbugs I remember after 9/11 grounded all aircraft over the US the temperature was sen to rise as their emissions weren’t there. Can someone find the evidence for that which seems to conflict with the science that says contrails heat the planet?
@John_Loader the article mentions that sulphate particles in the atmosphere like those over shipping lanes reflect heat out of the atmosphere in a localized way, but total emissions warm the planet overall
@afewbugs There are not enough wildfires inside the Mail. Surely all that hot air and vodka is enough of an accelerant?
@afewbugs I imagine that the percentage of UK land which has been rewilded is tiny.
