Have you played Disco Elysium?
@evan No, but I have seen several streamers playing it 😅
@matus_chochlik hmm. There are some pretty dark paths to pursue.
@evan aye, and DE is the by far the best (and funniest) critique of all of them, without being preachy. Also having lived the first 10 years of my life "behind the iron curtain" and then having experienced 10+ years of the "shock therapy" the vibes of Martinaise are very familiar.
@evan Yes, tried multiple times. Not my style.
@iamdtms That's OK. I am open to the idea that some people who don't like DE are fine. I'm sure you're one of them!
@evan it's a lot of time to play theese kinds of games, and I unfortunately don't have this amount of time now. Daily 0.5 - 1 hour is not enough to start DE. I felt the style of the game, it is okay for me. Pretty good.
@evan
bought it 2 years ago, have yet to install it
@evan ... But haven't finished once. Loved the dialogue, though life for in the way.
"You keep telling yourself that"
No really... Got it for Android So i could play on the go. Except I just shattered the glass panel of my tablet.
"You are so clumsy. Maybe you should try ... Neh, that wouldn't work for you"
@evan have *you* played Esoteric Ebb?
@evan Don't think I could even if I wanted to, as far as I know not accessible with screen readers.
@evan After we discussed it here a few weeks ago, i played it a third time.
@carrideen wow. Are you playing a very different game, or savouring the details?
@evan Each time I played with different beginning stats, and I have tried to make very different decisions, but I do find it hard to be something I am totally not (racist, into drugs, cruel). This last time I finished the game with Cuno as a companion, which was new for me. I also held off as long as I could in pursuing the endgame so I could follow every open loop I could.
@carrideen cw for spoilers please!
