Dear #lazyweb #askfedi I have a jewelry question: I am working with nordic gold (CuAlZnSn) and german silver (CuNi). I have a propane furnace and a (not-)MAPP torch.
I struggle to melt copper based alloys with either (I have cast aluminium without problems in the past, and with difficulty made some casting shot from brass, german silver, copper and nordic gold.
I have a smith little torch with the wrong fittings for this country , and an oxygen regulator, but currently no source of oxygen.
