Hey, all. Very interesting! I am disappointed but not surprised that so few people use Followers Only; it is an excellent feature on most social networks and very broken on Mastodon.

I'm also disappointed about "quiet public". It's the type of experience a lot of people who post Public seem to want, but it's confusing enough that maybe a lot of people don't use it.

Anyway, I'm Public, Quiet Public (default in reply to someone who posted QP) and Private Mention.

@evan I know that I've definitely used two of them, but I also clicked on the other two while I was considering them.

@evan I have also used the "write, rewrite several times, then just delete" feature numerous times.

@evan I still don't understand what quiet public does in complete detail. But people seem to use it a bunch and sometimes I do too
