It's some more Oxygen Not Included play, continuing on from the link below.

It's c160 in this nice leisurely run, and things are going pretty well. Census just hit 16, going for 20. Have 6 tons of steel and 6 tons of plastic.

Plenty of water, lots of o2, just about ready for the midgame *proper*.

Have occupied the teleporter planet and now getting it set up for resource exploitation.

Some more Oxygen Not Included today.

It's c105, we have 11 dups. We're eating both bbq and cooked seafood, soon enough to be surf'n'turf, which will feed us well into the midgame.

I screwed up the shinebug ranch, *twice*, so radiation research has just barely begun to happen.

I plan to head to the teleporter by c120.

On Ughilios, the teleporter asteroid, the base is setting up. The key resources here are oil, fossil, and lead, all of which are in the same biome we're just about to enter on the lower right. We're planning for 3 dups while we get everything set up, later just one. For now, Digby is soloing, but we'll move a second person there in a second.

We're currently sending o2, but we'll move towards sending only h2o and making our own o2.

Next: simple power via ethanol.

At home, the base is impressively orthogonal, even by *my* control-freak standards. It's 3 columns wide. The main shaft (to the right) is a perfectly straight ladder from top to bottom.

The leftmost column is (WIP) a cool industrial area. For the other two columns, the top is habitation, the bottom is ranching.

We've cracked the barren biome at the bottom, and the space biome at the top is blueprinted in.

The main habitation area. The top floors (3 left, 2 right) will eventually all be luxury barracks.

Where the cots are now on the right will be the food prep, and below that, a relocated great hall.

On the left, the shine bug ranch is as the research below is already at 200 rads/cycle, more than enough.

The general state of shabbiness should indicate how much I've worked and reworked and reworked this space, but I feel I'm closing in on perfection.

I am really proud of this build, my own design, and I will use it in base colonies going forward, almost exactly.

This is two hybrid (hydra) electrolyzers maintain o2 inside the area at 20kg/tile of pressure, cooled by cold ph2o from the slush geyser.

But it's also a half claymator, which is converting ph2o to o2 and, more importantly, to clay for ceramic, an important midgame insulator. The whole thing is self-powering.

(We'll tap that cool steam vent later.)
