Why would anyone inflict this to Mexico and Canada? What have they done to deserve this?

@DavidBHimself IIRC California, Nevada, Colorado and Texas were just as Mexican as New Mexico used to be.

"Remember the Alamo" is an anti-Mexican expression (and pro-Texas independence).
@DavidBHimself I *know* what they mean with the Alamo.
That was sarcasm from me.
And the US definitely invaded Mexico, so giving those states back would be something.
