@jeffjarvis it started when Obama stated the Budapest Memorandum obligations that cite all UN Charter, authority of the UN SC and the NPT are void... because it's not ratified by the Congress (lol) and it was assurances not guarantees (lol) and seeking action means nobody finds it even (ROFL!)
That's the norm now. The techno-fascist nations and groups that felt isolated and restricted by international law have waged a global campaign for the better part of 20 years to help bring about this context.
It's going to be rogue states all the way down, US was just prioritized as the biggest domino. Welcome to the "multipolar world" (see; euphemism for boot on human face forever, everywhere).

The US has never followed any international laws when it thought it benefits them to break them. Trump is just continuing this.
Presidents have told soldiers to kill, without evidence, without court cases, without legitimacy.
Trump and Vance said they do not want this and were partially elected because of that. Another lie, another broken promise. But who counts, MAGA does not.

@jeffjarvis Trump's attack is no different from Mussolini's attack on Abyssinia, Hitler's attack on Poland, Hirohito's attack on Pearl Harbor, Bush's attack on Afghanistan and Iraq, and Putin's attack on Ukraine. It is an unacceptable crime and should be interpreted as such. The international consequences are terrible, and that is what should concern us now.
