@Tutanota The only thing keeping me from using Tuta instead of Proton is the lack of a bridge to access tuta on thunderbird.
you desktop app is great. but there are at least five features I need that are on thunderbird but absent on your desktop app.

Ya. Metadata is used to kill people.
And if you think about, may be digging through data would provide context to say that killing is unwarranted, so, focus only on metadata is best for those who want to remove/kill you.
Does end-to-end encryption hides metadata? No.

@Tutanota but @bsi also recommends Apple Mail, Gmail and Outlook. Obviously privacy was not subject for BSI recommendations.
