I didn't think the #ACM could make me dislike the ACM DL more, so, congratulations I guess, on figuring out a way to do that and ALSO make it more expensive to run at the same time, with AI summaries for things that already have abstracts

@ricci so guess what? My ACM DL still has regular abstracts, because apparently AI summaries are a "premium" feature and I'm not logged in with an institutional subscription!
@dan yep when I get back to a keyboard I'm emailing our library to ask them to please drop our campus "premium" subscription, which better also save money
ACM doesn't give a shit about authors, this is clear, but maybe they will listen to the people with the money
