Stupidness, Elon Musk’s call to split Europe into independent states (actually we are dumbo) echoes a similar idea for America: dividing the US into 50 sovereign states could curb fundamentalist conservatism and predatory capitalism. Each new state would address oligarchy with its own resources and ideologies, likely sparking an internal migration of about 350 million people. The federal system clearly fails—if something isn’t working, it shouldn’t be kept.

@anneapplebaum Don't ever glorify Radosław Sikorski or Donald Tusk for that matter. They aren't good people, they don't have any moral spine and they performative tweets are meaningless in face of hardline cooperation with USA or their own violations of international law/ human rights.

Techbros have a tremendous arsenal of digital tools to influence people's opinions in the way THEY want.
Also assume that Putin's or Xi's hands are in the mixing bowl too.
The EU is the best thing that has happened to Europe since the 2nd World War.
That is why Putin was so determined to get the UK out of the EU.
