That's really the fundamental cleavage between fascists and the rest of us, right? In their heart of hearts, fascists only count them and theirs as humans, worthy of moral consideration.

Everyone values their own liberty. A libertarian is someone who values everyone's liberty, *even when* it goes against their own short term wants or self-interest. A self-described "libertarian" who only cares about freedom for them and theirs, and the devil take the hindmost, is *not* a libertarian.

I've come across genuine libertarians who align with other left and others with the right. But fake libertarians are *much* more common on the right in my experience.
