A lot of social reforms (private members' bills but free votes & implemented by government).
Those were highlights. Not all good by any means (support for Israel, intelligence and training support to USA, immigration controls, prescription charges (having first abolished them), austerity in layer years), but compared to what followed, it was a decent, reforming government.
