@aram #BillGates hat seinen Kopf beim #OrangeUtan in den Arsch geschoben
@aram Even Bill Gates gives up on stopping climate change.
That just because billionaires have taken all the power and they cannot figure out any way to stop the end of the world that wouldn't interfere with their income streams.
@aram guess AI can't solve climate change as they promised... What a shocker.
So they've gone from "what climate change?" to "it's too late already"?!
@aram i can smell his farts up here, and it smells with Methanedione. He should take the air pollution tests
@aram Oligarchs don’t give a shit, because they’ll survive.
We should rid ourselves of them.
@aram The pragmatist real people know that the real fight against climate changes starts when we take all the wealth away from the oligarchs and use it to fight climate change.
@aram It's only a lost cause to them because we can't fight it without getting rid of their products.
@aram yup. Not that they ever gave a fuck about anyone or anything beyond their net worth anyways.
@twipped oh, tell me more about that jet fuel thing? any links?
@rysiek maybe something like this?
https://www.theregister.com/2025/10/22/datacenter_jet_engines/
@twipped
@twipped @rysiek couldn’t read past the paywall so maybe I missed something, but just in case an fyi! The article title seems to be talking about a jet engine shortage. There’s a type of natural gas turbine called “aero-derivative,” ie the design is based on airplane turbines. So this article seems more to focus on the actual turbine factory/metalworking capacity, not jet fuel itself.
Still a horribly dumb state of things, but just for future reference!
@aram Up until last year I really had the impression that Gates is one of the last of the tech people not completely out of mind ...... but this year ..... is there a competition running that I don't know of?
> s a serious problem but it won't be the end of civilization
@aram and that massive scale eco-migration will not have a civilization level impact.
It might not be "the end" for most of the rich northern hemisphere, but it will for sure be the end for some. Sigh...
@aram "We've tried everything! From lying about it, ignoring it, praying, buying magic beans*... nothing worked! Guess we should just give up."
*: Carbon capture, hydrogen, nuclear and other non-starters that this stupid mf has been pushing for decades as miracle solutions to the crisis he now says is unsolvable.
Fuck him.
@aram Cool that he thinks that, but most scientists do not agree...
But what if we could do both? Like, you know... Stop warming AND fight suffering...
Because - surprise - we can...
Don't get me wrong, Bill Gates is doing a lot of good things with his foundation, but he needs to know his place 😅
