Just to be clear, you're wanting to use Mastodon through a Pixelfed app? Is there some specific reason for this?

I would like to navigate with a #pixelfed-like interface without having to create a pixelfed account and start following a lot of accounts and all the hassle.
I don't see a reason for a separate account only for that, mastodon is already capable of posting images, sending DMs, etc.
if I could just have a different frontend for doing it, that would be amazing!
Pixelcat app does it, but the development stopped.
Is there something specific about the Pixelfed interface that you prefer over the Mastodon interface?
@FediTips sometimes I just want to navigate memes videos/images and friend's pictures in an interface that is more convenient for those formats on a mobile screen.
Also it is a lot better for posting images: #Pixeldroid, for instance, has some cool filters baked in the app. Just click the icon for 'new post' and it opens a camera with lots of cool options.

If you were on iOS I'd suggest trying Impressia, not sure what else to suggest on Android if you've tried Pixeldroid 馃槮
