We’ll know we’re getting somewhere when car sales of any kind drop like a stone
@urlyman As the world's climate worsens, it seems possible that there will be greater demand for cars, since they have heating and air conditioning. And due to underinvestment for a long period of time, and a focus on suburban/exurban regions over dense cities, public transit does not seem particularly viable, either.
Maybe self-driving cars and pooling will help a bit?
@jawnsy it will probably follow the curve of most aspects of modernity.
