Where I’m at: Just landed in Barcelona, drove an hour to this tiny town, checked in to our Airbnb (the house is older than our country) and went directly to this local dive, where the menu isn’t even in Spanish (it’s in Catalan). I love my life.

@MikeElgan Well, the menu will be in Catalan, but the peppers are Galician and the ham is certainly not Catalan. And businesses like Airbnb are forcing Barcelona residents who have lived in houses like this for generations, long before your country even existed, to leave the city where they were born so that tourists can take it over. Airbnb is one of the main companies contributing to the gentrification of cities.
