Ooh, half a year in with vim and it is starting to feel crazy smooth

Take that, modern UX

@ntnsndr jajaa, I wonder how it would feel if I hadn't been using it since the last century. What flavor are you playing with?

@ntnsndr Ah, if you like that, just try #emacs ;P :DDD

(BTW, if my computer doesn't have emacs, it is not worth turning it on). ;D

No, seriously, #org_mode is the 2nd best thing to process ideas after our brains.

@edumerco Well, this is coming after 20 years of being a devoted emacs-er:)

@edumerco last winter I dedicated myself to working through an emacs manual and realized I didn't actually want a program that does everything and just want a lean but powerful text editor that integrates well with the CLI.

I also like how vim bindings are so ubiquitous on things like tiling window managers.

I also am cool with simple lists as a knowledgebase, plus Zotero.

@edumerco @ntnsndr especially with org-roam (https://www.orgroam.com/) and org-roam-ui (https://github.com/org-roam/org-roam-ui) IMO. Let's you build and visualize your own kind of knowledge graph. But even standard orgmode is incredible

@eruwero
Love org-mode and org-roam too.
Fundamental for any knowledge worker today. :)
