@dirk @kdenlive @kde I have one of those but never managed to properly use it on linux so it has been in the drawer for years. Which driver are you using and how did you do the key bindings? Hopefully it'll eventually work out of the box thanks to the work of the We Care About Your Input - KDE Goal. (hint hint @redstrate @duha 馃檭)

@frd @kdenlive @kde @redstrate @duha I can鈥檛 remember specifically installing any drivers. dmesg says this:
[ 4.390433] usb 5-2: Product: ShuttlePRO v2
[ 4.405583] input: Contour Design ShuttlePRO v2 as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.3/0000:04:00.0/0000:05:01.1/usb5/5-2/5-2:1.0/0003:0B33:0030.0006/input/input9
[ 4.405730] hid-generic 0003:0B33:0030.0006: input,hidraw5: USB HID v1.10 Device [Contour Design ShuttlePRO v2] on usb-0000:05:01.1-2/input0

I had to set up an udev rule:

ATTRS{name}=="Contour Design ShuttlePRO v2" MODE="0644"

With this I can use it with my normal user account without any special permissions.

In #Kdenlive (Flatpak variant) it just shows up as configurable device.
