@neil do you think we should shift our focus from telling people how to comply- and figuring out how we can collectively better lobby the government to change the law?
The Chancellor keeps boasting how she wants to rip up red tape to help boost innovation and the economy, while her Government’s law throttles small web businesses & makes Britain the last place someone would want to host a new web startup. Maybe I’m naïve but there must be a way to get that message thru.

(and maybe it’s happening behind the scenes) but things like a coordinated MP writing campaign, getting the LibDems / other act critics to host events in Parliament, a common website that services shutting down can send their users to to learn more.. um, gathering to brainstorm other things!
