The title is pure clickbait. It seems to be based on a single Coinbase article, where the title also doesn't match the content. No one actually asked for intervention, it was just a report on market conditions.

Let's take a moment to understand what happened here:

- Molly White didn't read the Coinbase article past the title.
- Cory Doctorow didn't read Molly White's article past the title.

...and that resulted in a hot take about "libertarians" and #Bitcoin.
