Many people do not understand how cooked the German “left” is.

Four stickers on a wall saying: 1 “Antifa supports Israel” with a tilted rainbow flag in the whole background, an entirely red Antifa flag logo in the bottom left, and a star of David with a white background in the bottom right 2 the Mossad logo (Israel's secret service) but instead of Hebrew text it says “Nazihunter” twice 3 „Antisemites International” with the Logo of Amnesty International (a candle with barbed wire surrounding it) but the word Amnesty crossed out and replaced with “Antisemites” 4 „Defend Israel” depicted in the style of the Jurassic Park logo. Instead of a T-Rex it shows an IDF Merkava style tank.

These four stickers are just the ones that caught my eye on the way back home from the office in the “leftist” district of Linden, in the city of Hannover.

  • „Antifa supports Israel”, somehow implying that the actions of Israel are an antifascist struggle.
  • The Mossad logo, but instead of Hebrew it says “Nazihunter”, implying the people Mossad is hunting are Nazis.
  • „Antisemites International” in the style of the Amnesty International logo, implying that the report of the global human rights organization, classifying Israel's actions in Gaza as genocide, is somehow antisemitic.
  • „Defend Israel” in the style of the Jurassic Park logo (???) whilst depicting an IDF Merkava tank in the background, implying that Israel's genocide is somehow defense. These tanks have never been used on Israel's soil.

This is what I have to deal with every day.

So you honestly think that the German left is the only left-wing group on the entire planet to advocate Israel's victory and to be in favour of the genocide in Gaza?

At no point do you say to yourself that left-wing imagery is taken up by the far right to advocate the opposite of what it is supposed to stand for?

which is a modus operandi of the far right, in Germany as everywhere else on the planet?

@ErikUden during the building of the apartheid wall, Israeli anti-fascists were deither touring to get support or outright flead Israel because of the repression they had to deal with. When they went to Germany, thee anti-deutchers didn't know how to react. From what I read here now, this time around they do, they just call jewish Israeli antifa's nazis. And they get the support of the German gouvernment for it.

@ErikUden wow, for me, genocide is evil, and the fact that a victim of genocide is now doing THE EXACT SAME THING to a captive population is just as evil, if not moreso, because, as a prior victim, you know exactly what you are doing, and that it is wrong.
(And when your own people are calling you a monster for what you are doing, chances are, you are totally a monster.)

@ErikUden The grain of truth in Russia's propaganda is that Right Sektor really did play a role in Euromaidan, and the Azov Battalion really are Nazis who have it in for ethnic Russians. But the Kremlin and its mouthpieces *massively* exaggerate their influence, in similar fashion to how Israeli propaganda exaggerates Palestinian support for Hamas and the actual number of operatives they have.

Ordinary Ukrainians rose up because Yanukovych ignored a parliamentary vote under Russian pressure.
