Google’s $45 Million Contract With Netanyahu’s Office to Spread Israeli #Propaganda

Israel’s advertising bureau, which reports to the prime minister’s office, has embarked on a mass advertising and public messaging effort to conceal the hunger crisis. The push includes a high-dollar spending spree on paid advertising, yielding tens of millions for #Google, #YouTube, #X, #Meta, and other tech platforms.

“There is food in Gaza. Any other claim is a lie,” asserted a propaganda video published by the #Israel foreign ministry to Google’s YouTube video platform and viewed more than 6 million times. Much of the video’s reach results from an ad placed during an ongoing and previously unreported $45M advertising campaign initiated between Google and Netanyahu’s office in June.

At least 367 Palestinians, including 131 children, have died as a result of hunger and malnutrition since the war began.

The #Hamas has been attacking Chan Yunis on August, 20 in the south of #Gaza. An ongoing war led by #Israel against the armed is to be expected although there been demonstrations against it. The Strip is in fact a prison in which the Harakat al-muqãwama al-islamiyya (Islamic Resistance) rules people. There is an urban warfare going on and no genocide. The genocide accusation is discussed for being a narrative by arab sides but is the modern form of creating a scapegoat.

A very normal thing someone from a very normal country would think up in their head, design, print and put into my neighborhood (but it's fine since they deny this genocide from a leftist perspective).

Reports from international outlets, including Haaretz and The Washington Post, had corroborated reports that these criminal gangs are affiliated to #ISIS and operate under the protection of Israeli forces. Witnesses and internal UN memos indicate that gangs looting aid convoys are often seen near Israeli military positions, where Israeli soldiers take no action against them. The gangs in Gaza “may be benefitting from a passive if not active benevolence” or “protection” from the Israeli army.

Yasser Abu Shabab has a known history of drug smuggling and collaboration with extremist groups. His gang, consisting of over 200 armed individuals, has established a fortified base in an Israeli-controlled zone in #Rafah. This area, referred to as a “death zone,” is typically inaccessible to #Gaza residents, further raising suspicions of Israeli complicity in the gang’s activities.

#Israel has been systematically attacking police members securing aid delivery, creating a very unstable security environment and allowing armed gangs to take advantage of the situation.
