It will lead to higher levels of child poverty. It will lead to higher levels of use of public services, because those workers don't have the income.

This is a self-defeating short win for the government. We're all going to pay for it, in the long run. So even if you don't care about [gender equity, equal pay, etc], there's no sense at all in voting for this."

Challenge accepted! I'm planning a blog post about what they can try out right now, and what we could build if regulation forced corporate platforms to interop with services/ apps offered by smaller competitors and not-for-profit groups.
