@FediTips
It looks like this to me. I don't see more tags in a Browser. And nope, I don't follow it.

I still don't understand it sometimes... Why do I see e.g. this bullshit post, which is apparently not shared nor quoted? I don't follow any of those hashtags!

Every now and then, posts like this pop up and I don't get why. In the app I'm using, it's normally clear by whom something was shared.
That post has a LOT of tags on it, maybe too many as they don't all seem to be relevant.
Are you sure you're not following any of those tags? You can check by clicking each tag on the post and seeing if you have a follow or unfollow button for it.
@FediTips
Thanks for your quick answer!
Yes, I even checked again. I don't follow any of those tags.
Maybe there's a trick to push content to timelines? 🤔
There is no way to push content, that's why I am wondering if it's one of the tags?
Is there anything above the post in your timeline indicating that someone boosted it?
And to those who scold others for what they see in their timeline, stop whining and solve your own problems.
@FediTips I believe that there is another case, which is somewhat a special case of the third point: the post *contained* a hashtag you follow, but was later edited so it no longer does.
The initial hashtag pushed the post into your home feed, but the later edit does not *remove* the post from your home feed.
If people abuse this, block them. 🙂

> The initial hashtag pushed the post into your home feed, but the later edit does not *remove* the post from your home feed
Is that something that could be fixed? Eg with some sort of metadata attached to the post, recording why it was in the feed, so if an Edit removes that reason the post is removed?
@FediTips
I am glad you specified "home" timeline as there are multiple timelines and two of them will show content unrelated to what you listed. For example the "local" timeline shows all posts made by someone on your server. I forget one the other one is or what it shows, but it is extremely active whenever I look at it
@FediTips AND NO ADS 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
@FediTips Wait? What about a reply of someone I follow to a post from someone I don't follow? #Fediverse
You only see replies if they are by someone you follow to someone else you also follow, or someone you follow replying to themselves, or someone you follow boosting a reply by anyone.
